The yearly gala recognizes those who have been affected by domestic violence, and honors those who are doing something to prevent/educate throughout the community about it. This event was started by best selling author and founder/executive director of @TheStillstandingfoundation Mrs. @Tamikolowrypugh Tomiko spoke about her own story of how she herself was a victim of domestic violence and how her trials birthed a new woman who would soon help heal other women/men who’ve  experienced great pain through domestic violence.
