Maria Wills is the Host of Girl Power Hour Radio Show with Jae Nash. She recently completed her first children’s book, The Secret Keeper: Perfect the Way You Are, it was inspired by her daughter.

The Secret Keeper: Perfect the Way You Are, is about a young girl who gets bullied on her way to school. She is very sad about it, and decides to not tell her teacher or her mother about the bullying that she’s endured. In the middle of the night, The Secret Keeper is a superhero who gives advice to the young girl, encouraging her to stand up for herself. The Secret Keeper is not only a superhero, but she’s also her mother. On the next day, the young girl has gained a new confidence to stand up for herself because of the great advice that she was given by the superhero.

Maria expressed why she felt moved to pen a children’s book for her daughter: “The purpose of this book and my upcoming series is to create a dialogue between parents and their children about difficult topics that affect our children today. It also teaches that a child who is bullying someone does not need to be labeled, but helped and encouraged, as well.”

On November 11th, she will be at the Cheese Caked location in Atlanta, GA for a book signing. There will be desserts, music, and games. You can RSVP on her website: https://iammariawills.com/rsvp

The book release date is November 1, 2017. It is available in paperback and kindle on Amazon. The Secret Keeper: Perfect the Way You Are is the first release of a five book series.
