Sunday, March 25th marked Impact Magazine’s annual Women of Impact Honorary Dinner at the Ritz Carlton in Downtown Atlanta. This year’s dinner paid homage to some of the industry’s most powerful and impactful women including: singer/songwriter, actress and Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Kandi Burruss, multi-media personality Rashan Ali, CEO of PPM Agency Kim Blackwell, three-time Olympian Hazel Clark, celebrity hairstylist Jasmine “RazorChic of Atlanta” Collins, former President Barack Obama Administration Social Secretary Deesha Dyer, activist and actress Ernestine Johnson, CEO of 13th & Joan Publishing Ardre Orie,  and founder and CEO of Werk, Play, Slay Koereyelle. Judging from each of the honoree’s extensive list of accolades, these powerhouse moguls have no intentions of stopping.

Attendees were greeted by the warm ambiance of crystal chandeliers, off-white linen, bouquets of roses, and wine glasses.

Before the long-awaited dinner, Girl Power Hour Correspondent Krystal Ketcham, caught up with Kandi Burruss to discuss her latest endeavors, motherhood, and the most impactful women in her life. When asked about the women who impacted her life the most, it’s no surprise, Kandi mentioned the woman that turned heads on Real Housewives of Atlanta and nurtured her since birth, Mama Joyce.
