The tenth annual AAMBC Literary Awards will take place in Atlanta, GA, June 7-10, 2018. The Black Writer’s Weekend is an annual event; it was first established in 2008, founded by Tamika Newhouse. The festival was created to gather black creatives and enthusiasts in publishing, films, movies and television. With approximately 1,500 attendees, the four-day weekend will consist of activities such as; author panels, book signings, and workshops.
